Ankur utthan

Utthan was born with the desire to harness the strength of our community to make a difference in the lives around, especially the underprivileged ones. As the social welfare wing of Ankur, a Bengali organization in North Texas, Utthan is dedicated to using the power of community engagement to improve the quality of life in our broader community. We believe that every individual and family has the right to access the resource and support they need to live with security.

Our mission is to empower and support those in need by providing the resource and support they need to achieve self-sufficiency and well-being. We work tirelessly to provide a wide range of social welfare services, including but not limited to counselling, education, job assistance, blood donation, food drive, cloth donation, and many more. Our dedicated volunteers are committed to providing compassionate, respectful, and culturally sensitive services to all those we serve.

With the help of our donors, partners, and volunteers, we strive to make a positive and lasting impact in the lives of those we serve and to build a stronger and more equitable community for all.
